Ritva Voutila was born in Nokia, Finland. She has studied art at Helsinki’s School of Art and Design and the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney and holds a BA in Philosophy from Macquarie University.
Her show won the Frater Award for Excellence in School performances in 1999 and 2005. She has illustrated many popular children’s books including 101 Excuses for Not Doing Homework by Carly Little and Poppy’s Path by Wendy Orr.
